When Summer came
It promised

My very 1st attempt in a Japanese Haiku. I hope it's not too shabby.

その涙
忘れませんの愛
はっきり見ます

Life is Like...


Life is like
Punching bubble wrap
Before long
The fun is gone
Leaving a
Airless
Useless
Non-biodegradeble
Waste

Inspiration



After putting up the post on my grandmother. It started pouring out of nowhere. Perhaps it was grandma giving me inspiration.

Inspiration

The resounding madness
Came upon me
Like the sudden
Splinters of rain

Piercing my
Cold Skin

And stopped.

Whilst

I sat

And

Bled.

My Grandmother
My loving grandmother whom passed away this April. I love you grandma.

Long Absence
It's been quite some time since I turned up any poems. We I guess I'll have to make do with some photography instead.

Cupid's Lie


It was a mistake
To believe the
Words of Cupid

He promised
Days lingering
Between the
Black and White

Keys

Filled with
Music
And

Love

Nights of
Silent whispering
Quiet giggling

The sweet scent
Of honey and butter
In your hair

Your skin
Like warm marble
Yet
Soft and supple

Laying against
My chest
In reticent
Submission

Counting stars
While listening
To shy Crickets
Sing a song of
Adulation

To shower thee
All my love
And Affection

But you

Like a sweet
Latte with
A bitter aftertaste

Left me with
Memories

That can never
Be forgotten

The cold farewell
Against the shattered
Mirror
And my shattered heart

I see pieces
Of luscious red
From mourning Blood

And then darkness
Slumbering in
Cold summer's night

I found solitude
In the arms
Of malevolent
Mephistopheles

It is the season for haikus.... and I don't know why...
