Pride
A title I've been meaning to write about, but never got about to it. I don't know if it's good enough to express what it is meant to express. So, comments anyone?

Pride

As I trod down through this winding path
I once asked if the Sun doth shine and guide it
If I could look upon my sword with no disgrace
And she could only ask me to seek

To seek the peace between the oak trees
The standing honor of the wolves
The truths of a liar
The grace of a dying man

Wherefore lies the end of this burden
The weight of my heart
Nights where the old men sing
Tunes of unknown treachery

Chords of my soul clings to my spirit
They harden and fasten as one
Whilst I pull together the strength of all
And none

Claiming the throne to the Kingdom of disposition
Resting my palm on my own folly
Affirming all that I own and naught

I will be me
